When did it become ok to call up customer service and tell them that for no reason you want them to waive part of your costs?

As a Lead for Amazon.com I get to talk to all the physcho but this woman really annoyed me. I get that you are spending $800 but we are shipping you the items so you have to pay for shipping. No we do not offer spend more then $200 and get free shipping. Yes we do have offers and promotions. No your do not qualify. Then she goes on and on about why she doesn't understand why I will not give her free shipping.

This is why I would rather sit in my corner here at work and sleep. The only people worse then our customers are my agents.

I got to talk to a man who thinks that the government is out to kill him. He told me all about how THEY put microphones and camareas in his home and wrecked his car and his computer. And about how they even put a camara on his FOREHEAD! He also told me about how the government in Utah is evil and so is the rest of the US gov (but Bush just might be a pawn). This went on for FOURTY mineuts FOURTY!!!! An average call takes 6!!!!!!! He rambled on and I think he just wanted to talk to someone. He kept saying things like "I know i'm not gonna live through this." and "I made my peace with the fact THEY are going to kill me." and of course my fave "I don't want to upset you but we need to speard the word!" I was like WE!!! Yeah work was fun.
